Highly recommend this lovely pub and restaurant right on Loch Fyne. The food is excellent, we have six in our party, we all had different dishes and all were amongst the nicest we’ve enjoyed. They also serve excellent Fyne Brewery beers. Service was also very friendly and attentive. Dog friendly and lovely decor and setting. There’s a nice loch shore walk too for about 4/5km before or after dinner. Loved it and definitely coming back

I had my birthday tea last night at The Oystercatcher with my husband and son, one of the nicest meals I’ve had for a while! The beef loaded fries - delicious! for a starter was enough for 3 and the langoustines were amazing - go hungry you won’t be disappointed! The staff were lovely, service great in very comfy surroundings and it didn’t cost a fortune Thank you Oystercatchers, we will be back!

Just been for a meal here and it was utterly superb. We were really hungry and the food did not disappoint! Hearty portions and a delicious array of choice. Husband had Oysters, Sardines and Hake; i had Calamari and Belly Pork, fondant potato. We finished with the citrus cheesecake! All superb! Wonderful atmosphere (I believe freshly refurbished); dog friendly, good selection of Fyne Ales and other drinks. Stunning setting too! Fab sunset thrown in for free! Highly recommend and we will be back! (Booking recommended).

Second meal at The Oystercatcher this week while on holiday at the Bothy. The location is stunning, with walks along the beach and up into the surrounding woodland. The food is ridiculously good, neither of us are massive sea food fans but we had to try the locally caught langoustines, the chef gave us a personal tutorial on how to tackle them and they were incredible, we then tucked into some fish and chips because you can’t have a restaurant on the west coast that doesn’t serve fresh fish and chips. Both of us agreed that hands down that was the tastiest fish and chips we’ve had (and my partner eats fish and chips at every restaurant she goes to). You can’t tell immediately the mushy peas and tartar are homemade and it pairs amazingly with their local Fyne Ale sticky toffee pudding was last to finish it off and it was not disappointing, i could have eaten 3 more!! We stay on the east coast of Scotland and we’ll not grudge coming back through to have some more of this delicious food....

We stayed in a nearby house within a 15 minute walk of The Oystercatcher. It’s really lovely pub/restaurant, great selection of food and beers. Incredible views of the lochs and lovely place to spend the evening. Top 5 pubs I’ve ever been to

Oh my goodness!!!! The food doesn’t just look incredible, it tastes incredible too. Beef Brisket Croquette was to die for, the flavours complemented each other perfectly. The catch of the day was Red Mullet, which was a new experience but delicious. The staff were so welcoming and super informative about the food, you can tell immediately there is a real passion for good food and service. I also tried my partners pork shoulder and that was super tasty with the rhubarb the chocolate torte was a winner at dessert, we’re booked back in for tomorrow to try some other dishes. Don’t think about it. Book it!!
